An invitation to register for the upcoming DABOR event on Monday 11 March 2024 in Utrecht! 

Main Theme: AI & Ethics
While AI increases the effectiveness of the decision making processes by analyzing the hidden values and networks inside the data, the use of AI brings new ethical concerns. Can we say that an artificial intelligence solution treats everyone fairly? Can AI discriminate? During the event, we will discover what AI is, why we need Responsible AI and how we can approach this challenging topic.

The event will be a hybrid of English and Dutch languages, to allow organisations to present in their operating language and have an open discussion.
 
Time & Location
– Monday 11 March 15:30 till 19:00 (Netherlands time). The program itself between 16:00-17:45.
– Venue: In person at Rabobank Groep, Croeselaan 18, 3521 CB Utrecht.

– Welcome and introduction by Rabobank and DABOR Chairman
– Responsible AI by Gürer Kural, Analytics Consultant – Tribe Data & Analytics at Rabobank
– Data & Ethics by Adam Tarcy,  Data &Technology Risk Manager at ING
– Breakout session – ethical dilemmas will be discussed in smaller groups, followed by group presentations

Price and further instructions
– You can sign up to the event via DABOR website latest by Wednesday 6 March 17:00. Registrations after this moment will not be possible due to technical limitations. About 1-2 weeks prior to the event you will receive an e-mail confirmation from Rabobank to confirm your participation.
– We encourage you to come by public transport, the venue is walking distance from Utrecht Central station. If you wish you arrive by car, please use public parking possibilities or connect with us. 
– Joining DABOR events is free of charge for people who are connected with DABOR as an individual participant or join on behalf of a corporate participant, since both pay annual contributions.
– For all others, joining an event one-off is of course possible. The costs are EUR 150. If this cost is applicable to you we will contact you about the payment shortly, but encourage you to consider joining DABOR as a regular participant with annual contribution – you will get access to much more!
